A VMS submittal checklist for US IT recruiters

Fieldglass, Beeline, and vendor portals reject files, truncate notes, and lock you out of edits. The checklist is boring on purpose. Miss one item and you resubmit — or lose the req to the desk that did not.

Before you click submit

• DOCX on the client master, not a screenshot PDF.
• Legal name, phone, and email match intake — not a nickname in the header.
• Employment dates match the experience total you put in the note.
• Visa, location, and start date filled in the VMS fields, not only in the resume.
• Rate or salary band the account manager already approved.
• A recruiter summary under one screen: fit, gap, availability.
